Ever since we unearthed our first bomber jacket and dove down the rabbit hole to recreate it, we've run into that same French company over and over again. Vetements, a high fashion brand, also attempted to fashion-ize the Bundespolizei in a rather low-effort way by making a hoodie under their label and selling it for egregious prices. And it got even worse when it got on the second hand market: The hoodie in question can be seen all over the internet for $700 up to $2000. So we got to work.
We found the closest match we could to Sommerblouson's iconic Forstergrun, and added reflective "POLIZEI" lettering on the back just like the bomber & many other garments the German State Police used until the 2010s. On the front, a highly detailed fully embroidered berlin crest with our brand.
Who's the real Polizei fanatic now, runway-fashionista?
